Our pilot is open at Doolittle School in Cheshire, Connecticut. A living sanctuary where children and the caregivers who love them can breathe, heal, and reconnect, right where they already are.

Now, we’re building the movement: bringing this model to more schools and healthcare facilities across the country.

THE CHALLENGE

Children are anxious, overwhelmed, and rarely off their screens.

The adults who care for them are running on empty.

And the help that arrives is almost always one more app, one more program, one more thing to do.

What if the antidote was right outside their window?

THE SOLUTION

Soulful Forest turns the unused space right outside their window into a device-free sanctuary where children and the adults who care for them can step away from the screens, breathe, and heal in nature, music, and each other.

GUIDED BY EXPERIENCE

Soulful Forest is being shaped by educators, clinicians, artists, and wellness and business leaders including an original soundtrack by a Disney and Broadway composer.

ROOTED IN WHAT WORKS

Soulful Forest draws on proven practices: Nature, Mindfulness, Music, and Social-emotional Learning—shown to ease stress and build resilience in children and caregivers alike. This isn’t one more screen. It’s a return to what heals.

THE PROJECT — WHY NOW

Children’s anxiety and screen dependence are at record highs, and one courtyard in Cheshire, Connecticut is already proof that something different is possible.

The very first Soulful Forest is open at Doolittle School, our proving ground. The installation is complete and kids and caregivers are using it every day, and we’re using this first year to learn and refine the model before we grow it further.

With the pilot underway, we’re ready to bring The Soulful Forest into healthcare facilities next, starting with pediatric units and family waiting spaces.
